After extensive internal and external independent audits, Exida has renewed the Functional Safety Management and Engineering systems of Hero Engineering to May 1, 2022. The Certification reconfirms our SIL 3 capability in compliance to AS/NZS 61508:2010 underpinning our extensive FS works in process and machinery safety. Hero Engineering has been a Certified Functional Safety Management company since 2013.
Hero Engineering is certified by exida, an accredited global functional safety certification company specialising in safety critical / high availability automation systems and control system security. Our Functional Safety Management Engineering Services are certified Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 in accordance to AS/IEC 61508 standards.

With the increased requirement of operating companies and functional safety service providers to comply with IEC61508, Hero Engineering has developed the HeroSafe Functional Safety Management System (FSM). HeroSafe covers the functional safety life cycle as documented in IEC61508/61511. The system has been compiled with input from all Hero Engineering FSEngs that have wide industry experience in process and machinery safety.
